Breeder's Cup Friday!!!

Ladies Day at Santa Anita

Marathon 500k:

Father Time:
Was 4th to the favorite in his last start; but had a tough trip/bad ride and with a better trip. Has a win over the all weather.

Mastery: Going to be the post time favorite and with good reason with a victory at this distance in his last, his main rival in this race finished 4th.

Juvenile Filly's Turf $1,000,000:

A) Juna Tepzia--> Dominated thus far, post is tricky, but should take care of these gals.

A) Rose Catherine--> Speed, shown she loves the turf, stepping up, stretching out. $$$

B) Lilly Langtry--> Favorite, and should be. Very impressive thurs far and should be right there for the money.

Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) $1,000,000:

A) VENTURA: Last years Champ. Back again and appears to be coming into this race in even better form than last. Gets the job done again here. Just hoping for any sort of a price.

B) Informed Decision: 6 for 6 on synthetic tracks. She has a the only shot at defeating the choice in here. But should fill out the exacta.

Juvenile Fillies (G1) $2,000,000:

So wide open.

A)Negligee--> could of won last by even more if she wanted to and this was a very very deep field. Fired a great workout last week and appears to be all systems go and hoping to get that 6-1.

A)She Be Wild--> Gomez may have moved a little early on this one in her last and fired a bullet right after that race saying shes ready to roll.

A)Beautician--> Rough trip exiting the same race as the other two picks, handled poly and should be tough here.

B) Zilva--> Price play. Well its clear i liked the alcibiadies, she finished a very troubled 4th. 20-1 is very juicy and should be flying late if they go too fast.

Filly & Mare Turf (G1) $1,000,000:

A) Midday-->
Ran a good 3rd in her last race, with this race in mind coming off a 3 month rest, should enjoy a stalking trip and be primed for a big effort.

B) Forever Together--> Last years champ, coming off a 3rd place in her prep for this. Thinking she wasn't a huge fan of the soft turf she has been stuck with in her past few; or maybe she has lost a step off of last years form? Regardless, this race goes through her.

B) Rutherienne-->
Very consistent runner, has a habit of making it closer than need be versus lesser competition. Think she will be over looked in the odds and could jump up and suprise here.

Distaff (Ladies Classic) (G1) $2,000,000:

A) Music Note--> I keep coming back to this girl, i liked her last year, didnt get it done and i think is better this year and more fresh. Thinking she will end up being 2nd choice and has ideal stalking position for the win.

B) Rainbow View--> Been a fan of her for a while and there has been debate to if she as good as she use to be. I love horses who are being pointed to this race for a while--that last turf effort was slightly disappointing, but this is her main goal; nervous about pace and 2nd time north american bounce are my fears.

Arc Sunday at Longchamp

5th Race: Prix De L' Opera

A: Crystal Capella--> Has won 6 in a row. Continues to improve, has only raced once this year back in May. That race she did beat Da Re Mi in her last race, who is facing the boys later in the day in the Arc. She has won off a layoff before and i think she can do it again at a bit of a price.

B: Chinese White--> Has turned into a win machine and keeps improving. Stepping up in class in each of her last 3, resulting in 3 straight wins by impressive margins.

B: Midday--> The favorite coming off an impressive G1 win at goodwood over some nice fillies. The distance should be right in her wheelhouse. She will be the favorite off her last race. She will be ultra tough in the stretch.

6th Race: Qatar Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe

A: See The Stars --> The best horse running in the world right now. Has beaten many of these already and has won 7 of 8 lifetime. Has a great post and will be short odds, but we can sit back and watch him run which will likely be the last race of his career. WON

B: Conduit --> Somone has to run second to See the Stars I think that horse can be Conduit, he is a tough horse when he runs his race. Gets a nice post here and should sit a nice trip to score a 2nd place check. 4th

The Bets:
$50 Bankroll:

$20 to Win on Crystal Capella -$20
$10 Exacta Midday over Crystal Capella -$10
$20 Exacta See the Stars over Conduit -$20

This Weekends Belmont Action:
"Flyin' Favorites Day"

6th Race: The Beldame G1.

A: Music Note--> This should be a public workout as a prep for the breeders cup. She should win by as many as she pleases. Will be a HEAVY favorite. WON

B: I guess I'll put the entry of Unbridled bell and Captain's Lover 2nd

7th Race: The Vosburgh G1.

A: Fabulous Strike--> Ultra tough on the front end and nearly unbeatable at 6 furlongs (todays distance). Was tested in his last by Go Go Shoot who also is in here, but I think he does it again. 2nd

B: Munnings --> He is a better horse at 7 furlongs. But if a pace senario develops with the choice and GGS he could pounce and get some money. 3rd

8th Race: The Flower Bowl Invitational G1.

A: Moneycantbuymelove:-->Has come along nicely . Her last race has was very good and the two horses who beat her would be very short prices in here. Should be able to sit off the early speed and mow 'em down at the wire. 4th

B: Pure Clan--> Was a victim of how the speed favoring track was playing on Arlington million day and she didn't get the cleanest of trips. Think she can benefit from a potential speed dual upfront and rebound. WON

9th Race: The Joe Hirsh Turf Classic Invitational G1.

A: Gio Ponti--> Has been dominant all year and i don't see much in here that can beat him in this spot. The only question in the distance, but that shouldn't matter much as he has displayed his ability to get it done at a variety of distances. Having that entry mate doesn't hurt either. I expect them to be a very short price. 2nd

B: Grand Couturier--> Won this event last year and comes off a stakes win. But he didn't face anything like Gio in last years. We know he likes the distance so he has that going for him, but think it is a tough task to take down the entry. 3rd

10th Race: The Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes G1.

A: Summer Bird--> Continues to get better with each start and we know he loves belmont and the distance. Should be able to sit off the pace and come again late and head to the breeder's cup in great shape. WON

B: Quality Road --> Loads of talent here and we can say he was in a little deep in his last race, still didn't run horribly; but was no match for 'Bird. See it the same way in this race, he will be best of the rest. 2nd

The Bets:

Since I think there woulnt be many prices to be had in this day, i will have to do some straight up bets and hope I am right.

$100 Bankroll:

6th Race: $20 Daily Double: 2 with 5. $20
